Let’s get this thing kicked off!

It’s time to start on your next ukes, notice I said ukes not uke, for the 2014 October Wailoa Show. The dates have just been announced and they are Oct.3-Oct.30, 2014. More info will follow as it develops. We have lots of details to work out, but the main work making all the display aids is mostly done because of our preparation for past shows. As discussed at our December meeting, some members may want to make their own enclosed display cases. Chris is very busy working on designs for that. If that is something you think you are interested in having, please contact me because I need to have a list of those possible displays. For making your own cases, there will be guidelines to follow and you will have to do your own financing, but Chris is looking closely at affordable designs. The actual work can probably be done as a group project by those interested.
There may be an additional short show in Waimea in November, and info can be found about that on the Guild website in the meeting minutes that Tom posted on the homepage. I’m not doing the arrangements for that show, and I believe that decisions for that show are being held over until the March meeting. I may be wrong about that. Feel free to bug Chris for more up to date info.
